Temperature requirements for different stages of raising chickens in broiler cages

In the use of broilers cage breeding broilers in the process, the temperature in the house controlled by the farmer is appropriate for the healthy growth of broilers. Temperature is the key factor for the success of farmers' breeding. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will have a certain impact on the healthy growth of broiler chickens, affecting feeding and activities, and in serious cases, it will cause large numbers of deaths. Therefore, the culture must pay attention to the control of the temperature of the house, the author will tell the temperature requirements of broilers in different growth stages.

1. Brooding period: During the brooding period, the farmer should set the temperature of the chicken house before the chicks are put in, and keep the chicks warm in advance so that they will not feel cold after entering the chicken house. In general, broiler chicken cages are used in closed chicken houses for brooding. Before brooding, adjust the heat preservation equipment in the chicken house to check whether the radiator and the pipeline are leaking or not, to avoid dead spots. Generally, the temperature required for chicks is around 30 °C, so the farmer should warm the house to 26 °C before entering the chicks, so as to keep warm in advance. Because the caged broiler adopts the method of brooding, the brooding space is large, the temperature in the house is adjusted, the temperature is uniform, and the phenomenon that the temperature difference is too large is avoided.

2. Control of temperature in the hen house: Feeding broiler chicks generally requires a relatively high temperature to allow the chicks to adapt and grow healthily. During brooding, the farmer can guarantee the temperature of the house at around 33 °C, and then the brooding period. Afterwards, the weekly reduction is 0.5 °C. Because chicks within 7 days of age have a lower ability to regulate body temperature, the temperature in the brooding house should be kept constant within 7 days of age. The breeder should always check the temperature inside the house to avoid the temperature rising and falling, which will reduce the resistance of the chick.

3. Control of temperature in the house during the breeding period: The breeding period of the broiler generally refers to the broiler from 7 days old to the stall. From the brooding period, reduce the temperature by 0.5 °C per week, from 21 days to the time of the slaughter, the temperature of the house should be maintained at around 26 °C.

The above is the knowledge of raising chickens for farmers. In the process of raising chickens in broiler chicken cages, the appropriate temperature and suitable temperature for broilers at different growth stages can not only promote the healthy development of chicken farms, but also reduce the incidence of chicken diseases in chicken farms. Farmers must master the common knowledge of temperature in chicken farms, which is also the key to the construction of chicken houses.
